Allstate Insurance is one of the leading consumer and business insurance providers in North America, with total revenues in 2005 of over $35 billion.

The Business Challenge

A regional division of Allstate was unable to increase its sign-up rate for insurance policies for Hispanic consumers and businesses.

Excend's Solution

Excend conducted a Market Segmentation study to clarify which Hispanic customer profiles possessed the greatest need for insurance services. Additionally, Excend utilized a Best Practices Analysis to assist Allstate in identifying the most current techniques used by leading insurers to most effectively reach those Hispanic consumers and business owners.

The Results

Allstate increased sign-up rates by 35% on a compounded basis for four successive months.

ARCOR FOODS

The Company

Arcor Foods, with annual sales of $1.34 billion, produces hundreds of perishable and shelf-stable consumer food products. The company is based in Argentina and has historically focused its sales efforts in South America and Europe.

Arcor sought to create and deploy a comprehensive business case to effectively penetrate the United States consumer foods market.

Excend's Solution

Excend guided Arcor in developing a detailed psychographic analysis of United States consumers by region. That analysis allowed Excend to match specific food product offerings (confectionary candies, jams, breads, canned vegetables, etc.) to specific types of consumers in unique regions of the United States. (Consulting methods utilized included Gravity Modeling, Preferential Profiling, Preferential Matching.)

The Results

Arcor outpaced its competitors by 300% annually in regional US sales growth.
